Vacation Week

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

Well I decided to take this past week off of work for a little vacation time. I stayed with Martha all week down in Baahston. I really wanted to work on my Illustrator skills and get some cars traced so I could work up some new VW T-shirt designs. I got a bunch of ideas on the computer and I’m pretty happy with how they turned out:

I also placed an order for some new shirts this week. I will be getting new T-shirts and hoodies with the new MX lifestyle logo and new batches of the Red Sox and Godfather T-shirts. I ended up ordering the blank shirts myself because it’s going to end up saving me about $2-3 per shirt after the printing.

Of course the week flew by, but it was very nice waking up whenever I wanted, staying in my PJs all day, and not answering phone calls or emails of people mad at me because something is broken. I’ll be back home tomorrow night and back to work on Monday. The schools will be on vacation this week though, so it will be a nice way to ease back into the swing of things.

Catch up and photos.

Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’ve been quite busy. I’ve done a lot of web work recently including revamping the VW site as well as setting up a new site for RenegadeMX. Upgrading the forums on RenegadeVW was quite a process, but it was worth it in the end.

I’ve also been working on new designs for T-shirts. I completely re-did both “lifestyle” logos to get them into vector format and copyright free! Now I just need to get some new merchandise ordered with the new logos. Check them out:

I’ve also been spending a lot of time down in Bahston visiting my girlfriend. We got douched with snow a few weeks ago so we went out and took some snappers with the new d40 (thanks again love!). Check out these photos that I’ve taken over the past couple of months. Events include family xmas and birthdays, snow storms and, well I think that’s it.

Right click and open in a new tab to see them at full size.

Well that’s it for now, enjoy!
